WHERE TO EAT

We're working our way through the local eateries but here's a few to tempt you during your stay.

If you'd rather stay in there are plenty of options in town for takeaway's and provisions; a large co-op, spar, health food store and quite possibly the best petrol station Nisa store you've ever seen.

White Lion Hotel

Hearty pub grub, you won't leave hungry. Perfect for after a day on the trails.

Ty Medi Cafe

A favourite for a delicious lunch in town, relaxed surroundings. Winner of Best Vegetarian Establishment Food Awards Wales 2023

Breakfast at the bike park

Just 15 minutes drive from the cabin Aberdyfi is a beautiful little town with plenty of places to eat, get an ice cream and have a walk on the stunning sandy beach.

Ice Cream Parlour

There's always time for Ice Cream, especially when it's this good.

Ynyshir restaurant

Head chef Gareth Ward bring you a 30 course tasting menu, 2 Michelin star dining experience like no other.  Expect to be wowed.

Gwen restaurant Machynlleth

An intimate fine dining restaurant in the heart of Machynlleth.

Sister restaturant of Ynyshir, Harden's guide named it as best restaurant in Wales. Gwen offers a communal 20 course dining experience, serving 8 guests per sitting, now helmed by head chef Peter Sanchez- Iglesias.

Not one, but 2 Fish & Chip takeaway's and restaurants in the centre of Mach, you can order online for collection and the larger of the 2 has a restaurant if you'd rather sit in.

The Slaters arms in Corris, small, local and welcoming pub serving bar meals, Sunday lunch and pizzas after 8pm if you're late back from exploring.

Shilam Tandoori Restaurant. Eat in or takeaway. We're a big fan.
